Often things that we find complex, distasteful, or nasty as adults are surprisingly easy to explain in simple terms to children because the adult connotations vanish. How about ...<br /><br />The Sun puts a picture of a pretty woman in just her knickers on thier page 3 because some men like to look at her, and The Sun hopes that she will help them sell newspapers. But it is a bad thing because some men think that women are only important for their pretty looks.<br /><br />Granted that skates over lots of important aspects of the Page 3 debate, but I think a child would understand.
